Record and split videos in stories automatically.

Instagram automatically allows you to split videos in 15 seconds in stories so that you record continuously.

  • After 15 seconds, the stories will be divided and displayed above the capture button.
  • When finished, all the fragments of the video will be shown and you can edit them individually.
  • Click next to upload the videos to your story.

5 Tips for Snapchat

Adding Links to your Snaps

This is a copy of Instagram which allows you to add a website link to your snap. Just click on the attach icon and type the URL, search on google or copy from the clipboard. Once you have added the links to your photos or videos, your friends can open the link through Snapchat’s built-in browser.

Using Snapchat Memories

“Memories” is a recently launched feature that allows you to record a video or take a photo and then have it saved to Snapchat. That photo or video you can watch it or share it on your profile whenever you want. This option appears just below the duration counter button of the snaps you post. Once you tap on this icon you can import all the snaps you have previously saved to your camera roll or gallery. Once you select the photo or video you can start editing it and share it in your story or save it just for you. Saving only for yourself will not allow your friends to see these files when you show them your memories.

Switching between a front and rear camera in a video

I’m sure teenagers know this. But most adults and new users haven’t noticed this functionality. To swap cameras while shooting a video, all you have to do is double tap the screen.

Make money with Snapchat

As is the norm with all social networks, some users with popular accounts are making real money from brands for engaging in a bit of influencer marketing. Of course, it all depends on what you are and how well known you are, but you can make money.

Graphic artist CyreneQ (aka Cyrene Quiamco) reportedly makes up to $10,000 per snap when she’s on the job – and she’s not even the highest paid Snapchatter. She’s worked for Groupon, Disney, Burger King and The Fantastic Four to create content with a bit of emotion towards her projects.

Save your Snapchat stories

To do this, swipe to the right to get to all of her friends’ stories. Your story is at the top of the list with an obvious looking download button. Once it’s saved to your phone, you can save it anywhere you want.

If you think you are going to forget to save photos and videos, there is a service you can use called SNAP MEMORIES. To use it, you need to be streaming your stories publicly, and sign up on their website. You will then be sent a personalized email each month with your stories ready to view, share and embed.
